| Eric Kropf, MD
Dr. Eric Kropf has recently joined the Temple University staff as an Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. He has strong ties to the Philadelphia region and athletic community. Dr. Kropf is a native of the Lehigh Valley and graduate of Villanova University, where he was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta medical honor society, and received Academic All-Big East Honors as a member of Villanova’s varsity baseball team. He earned his MD degree at Georgetown University, as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.
He completed Orthopaedic surgical residency and an additional fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. During his time in Pittsburgh, Dr. Kropf served as assistant team physician for the University of Pittsburgh’s nationally ranked football team. He also worked closely with Pitt’s baseball and women’s volleyball teams, and was an assistant team physician to the PIAA state champion Pittsburgh Central Catholic football team.
Dr. Kropf’s practice focuses on the care of athletes of all ages and levels of participation. He performs arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgery of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, knee and ankle.
